I made a new username. It's roguezombie. I'll go into the reasons why I'm making a new account and why I haven't been around there. I'm actually really enjoying life right now, which is probably why I am never on LJ. Sorry for being such a sucky friend.

Most of the time I am either watching the news/Jon and Kate Plus 8 or working out. All my classes are going well. With the exception of Geology, because I really don't care about identifying minerals and rocks.

I had my first Lab test in Geology, and the girl next to me had a panic attack after the test. Apparently, she forgot all about the test until the night before. I guess she is one of those people who freaks out if they get an A-.

I've started watching a new show. Well, actually I've started watching several new shows but that's not the point. Anybody watch Merlin yet? Because I am hoping someone else watches it so I don't feel like a total nerd. I recommend it to anyone who likes Robin Hood. It's just like it. And I've already decided that Arthur/Morgana is my OTP.

Sorry I have been such a terrible friend. This is literally the first time I have been on LJ in a week. School has been unbelievably busy.

It turns out that my evil ex-roommate is in the same hall as me. But it's not really bothering me that much because I have a sweet ass new roommate. The only problem I've had with her is when her boyfriend comes over. He's a really nice guy, but they get all cuddly when he's over. It's just really awkward when they are basically lying on top of each other while we're watching The Colbert Report.

I like all my classes except for my French class, which was expected. I'm in a great Comparative Politics class. The teacher reminds me a lot of Peggy from Mad Men.

I forgot how bitchy all my friends are here. People are talking behind people's backs all the time.

I saw a guy last night that looked exactly like Ben Whishaw. I had a mini heart attack.

Mad Men is on tomorrow night!

So, how is everyone doing?

1. I watched On the Waterfront for the first time yesterday. I forgot what an amazing actor Marlon Brando is. Check out his kiss with Eva Marie Saint.



2. I just finished watching The Invasion. It was surprisingly good. It resurfaced my obsession with Daniel Craig. I think I will watch Casino Royale tonight.

3. I think I am looking foward more to the VP debates than then the Presidential ones. I think Biden will dominate over Palin.

4. There's a Mad Men marathon on AMC tomorrow. It's only S2, but you don't really need to watch S1 to know what's going on. Anyone else really excited for the new episode?

5. I am starting to freak out about going back to school. I'm excited to be back in the dorms, but nervous about everything else.
